10K time: 1.11.38
The cancer and the treatments that I received all through 2025…, and still does…, made me almost 30 minutes slower on the 10K distance.
It’s a total physical reset I’ve experienced, and fighting to start getting in shape again and still fight the cancer, thats HARD!
I looked at my heart rate the whole race, as I knew I would most likely start out much to hard and then collapse after 3-4K’s.
My luck was that I ran with a very good friend, that ran her first ever 10K.

We matched perfectly in speed and effort all the way from start to finish.
The Royal Run itself was as it has always been.
Crowded but very positive and a national event most people love to be a part of.
For me it was a base line run and now I just have to start improving and then continue improving.
