A small young black grass snake crossed the path, right in front of me 🙂
Because of the intense heat, it was very hard to keep HR low.
The last lap was a tuff run, as I ran too hot already from the start and had tired legs from the previous runs.
Changed shoes on every run and ran the last run in the NB Fuelcell Propels.
They suck!
The drop just wrecks havoc on normal, natural biomechanics.
The 4mm drop in the HOKA’s are much better.
These stacked runs are all about keeping a low effort and then getting the km’s done.
With a resulting short recovery periode…
Recovery after this is 46 hours.
Thats actually too long, but I suspect the heat plays in.
Tomorrow is going to be hard thonderstorms, so no running.
BTW, I found what I tripped over the other day.
The remains of an old wodden pole, that protudes just a little from the ground and is invisible in the leaves.
